TO BOOK PLEASE GET IN TOUCH USING THE CONTACT DETAILS ON THE CONTACT PAGE.
FOR VETERINARY PRACTICES, PLEASE USE THE KB VET PHYSIO ONLINE REFERRAL.
For horses, appointments take 1-1.5 hours done as a yard visit. For dogs, the first appointment takes 45-60 minutes and follow ups are 30-45 minutes based at Katherine's clinic in Shipley, West Sussex. During the session you will discuss the needs of your animal and the goals for physiotherapy, she will carry out a thorough postural and dynamic assessment with full palpation of your animal followed by treatment of the targeted areas.
Between sessions she may give you a full rehabilitation programme or just a couple of exercises that will complement the physical therapy depending on the patient’s needs. Katherine offers management advice, if necessary, to improve your animal’s welfare and follow up support for free. After each session, a physiotherapy report will be sent to you and your veterinary surgeon.
All animal physiotherapy will be undertaken only with veterinary referral or consent as is the law (Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966 and The Veterinary Surgery (Exemptions) Order 2015). Upon booking you will need to give your full name, your animal's name and veterinary practice, without this your animal will not be able to be seen.
If you wish to claim for physiotherapy through your insurance for a condition that has been treated by your veterinarian, you will need to complete the form by clicking here and send it to your practice. Until the form is signed and dated most insurance companies won’t cover the physiotherapy treatment under the policy. Please check your policy documents for details as each company works differently.
